This first map shows the entire province of Newfoundland and Labrador, which is located on the Eastern-most coast of Canada. The top portion of the province that is connected to the rest of Canada is Labrador while the bottom island portion is Newfoundland. The Trans-Canada Highway crosses from one side of the island to the other. St. Brides is located about 40 minutes south of Placentia which is found on the Avalon Peninsula. The Avalon is at the bottom right corner of the island.

St. Brides is located on the South-West portion of the Avalon which has been highlighted on the corresponding map. St. Brides is found at the bottom tip of this point. For reference sake it is close to the community of Branch on this map. Traveling on the TCH there are several exits to reach St. Brides including one in Whitbourne and another in Salmonier. There is also the Nova Scotia-Argentia ferry run that lands in Argentia, which is located mere minutes from Placentia.

From the Whitbourne exit it is about an hours drive by scenic coastlines to reach St. Brides. From the Argentia ferry it is only about 40 minutes drive to St. Brides.
